A Time & Material (T&M) ticket documents labor, equipment, and materials used for extra work that is compensated on an actual-cost basis rather than a lump sum. T&M tickets must be signed daily by both the contractor and the owner's representative to verify the resources used.
Daily signatures from both parties prevent disputes about what resources were actually used. Without timely verification, T&M claims become difficult to substantiate months later when the change order is finalized. The template includes signature blocks for each daily ticket.
The template applies contractual markup percentages for labor burden, overhead, and profit separately. Typical markups are 15-20% for overhead and 10-15% for profit on self-performed work, with lower markups on subcontractor pass-through. All markups are configurable per contract terms.
