Two numbers run a battery plant

State of health is the asset. Round-trip efficiency is the margin on every cycle. A battery does not fail loudly — it fades. A rack drifts out of balance, the cooling works a little harder, efficiency slips a point, and the SOH curve bends toward an augmentation you did not budget for this year. The O&M report is the record of how the plant cycled, what it cost in health, and the thermal margin you held.

Battery O&M reporting questions
